First Yard Training Day

First day on the CDL yard. Spent the day (13:00-17:00) memorizing the first two parts of the Pre-Trip Inspection. I got cleared on Part 1. I’ll test on Part 2 in the morning. Once I pass the Pre-Trip Inspection then I can start driving a truck.

Another student was there. She spent close to an hour trying to do the parallel park maneuver. The instructors showed her how to do it again and then she finally got it! She spent the rest of the afternoon parallel parking.

Another student took their final CDL test today and passed! So that was exciting to see. Neat to see other students in varying stages of the program.
